The Quran relies on the Bible to tell the stories of the ancient world. Islam claims that the Quran is from God but they are in the dark as regard the history of the ancient kingdoms. The Bible on the other hand has provided scientists and archaeologists with ample proofs as to things of the past and details that have opened the doors to answers.

So, what then makes the Quran a holy book when Islam still have to rely on some Bible verses for information?

Why does the Bible contain more facts than the Quran?

Bible is also a holy book coz it is sent to one of the prophets while Quran is the last book that contains all the commandments and amendments of the previous books...

THE QURAN CONTAINS SOMETHINGS THE BIBLE DOESNT HAVE AND THE BIBLE ALSO CONTAINS SOMETHING THE QURAN DOESNT HAVE BUT BOTH CONTAINS CLEARLY ENOUGH MESSAGE TO ITS PEOPLE ABOUT THE ONENESS OF GOD AND HIS INSTRUCTIONS. THE BIBLE HAS BOTH NEW AND OLD TESTAMENTS WITH LOTS OF CONTRADICTION

We Muslims do not believe in the Bible as the word of God. We only believe in the Gospel given to Jesus by God. Just as we believe in that given to Moses, David and others.
.
The Bible as it is today contains:
a. words ascribed to God.
b. words ascribed to men of God.
c. words of wise people, historians,...
d. words of nincompoops and ignoramuses.

And the various versions of the Bible makes it worse! The Catholic Bible has more chapters than the Protestants.

Stop comparing Bible to Qur'an please.
