The 2016 Miss Ideal Nigeria, Queen Nkem has launched a new project-
PROJECT P.A.L (pad a life) which is the collection of sanitary pads for the inmates of female prisons and donate to them afterwards.

The project's pilot prison is the Kirikiri female prison of Lagos State with target to give the over four hundred inmates of the prison a six month supply of sanitary pads .

The actress and ex beauty queen who is also the CEO of House Of Darlyn Fashion House revealed she was motivated to start the project after visiting the Kirikiri women prison and finding out they use shared rags for sanitary pads. This always lead to spread in infections amongst inmates.
