No doubt women are beautiful creatures and today we celebrate them. To our mothers who loved our fathers for who they are and we the wards hitherto, you are forever cherished!

Unfortunately in recent decades, the patience and perseverance exhibited by our mothers have been eaten away off the genome of larger percentage of today’s ladies. To them, naira is the answer off all things. These said ladies possess the 9 traits below:

1. Bleak future:

I regard them as the NFA (no future ambition) ladies. Logically, for them to use wealth as filter in their search for love translates to no belief in self or career. They are the complete antonyms of whatever you can refer the likes of Dora Akunyili, Chimamanda as. These category of ladies are the types who genetically change form to men as time goes by, they grow hunch at their backs and their shoulder width increase due to excessive consumption of MR Biggs chicken, ice cream etal.

2. Complacency:

Once these type of ladies nail on a rich man after long years of search, they become complacent. They have found their Calvary- a place of rest. Ebenezer! That, they scream (to this point God has helped me, I can’t go beyond). Those amongst them who have O’level never strive for bachelors and those with bachelors never strive for masters after you meet them. They become completely complacent because their definition of success lies but in the power of Naira.

3. Hassle-filled marriage:

Once you marry them, especially the ones with 7siblings or more. They’d make sure they transfer every one of them to your new abode. You get to pay for every of their tuitions and what have we. You officially become the ATM of the whole family. Invariably, calling you their messiah ain’t a far-fetched truth. It gets even worse if your mother-in-law is the type who depends solely on her sons-in-law. Believe me, you are literally in hot soup!

4. Lousy lifestyle

Such ladies see every reason to celebrate every birthday of the kids but never a singular reason to invest (that’s if they understand what investment means). If given chance, they’d celebrate 2years, 2(1/4), 2(1/2) for a 2 year old. Their reactions at the mention of the word ‘Party’, every knee of theirs must bow. Not even their husband can tell them not to attend. They’d rather borrow money saved for their ward’s education to pay for aso-ebi.

5. Not, never accountable

These set of ladies think of nothing but how to divert every penny that comes to them into their accounts. These are the ones you give 10,000 for soup; they pocket 3,000 and sparingly spend the rest on its original purpose. Some are even worse; in a case where the husband is abroad and sends tuitions to the Mum back home, Mum would rather take her wards to schools which charge lesser tuitions and pocket the rest of the money sent.

6. Hostility

These category of girls become hostile to such extent that they start requesting their husbands to part ways with his childhood friends. Friends they struggled to the top together, these ladies will tell their husbands to leave them. They’d come with all sorts of excuses.

‘Don’t buy them drinks no more’

‘Don’t see Kola anymore, he will introduce you to all these young girls and I don’t like it’...

Insecurity sets in because they believe if their husband should look elsewhere, that translates to poverty as they can’t stand on their own.

7. Laziness and Pride

Once you marry them, they become ‘mamana’. How do I mean? They start walking around the house in granny panties and gigantic bras. Since they have succeeded in ‘catching’ their supposed wealthy man, what’s next is to become unattractive. They never keep in shape, wealth blinds their reasoning that they forget the qualities which attracted their husbands in the first place.

They are quick to abuse fellow road users on highway. Talk of cars bought by the husband, any dent on it translates to abuses, curses and fights. They become possessive than the ‘possessor’.

8. Fetish lifestyle

As young spinsters, they are desperate. These groups are the most fertile. They use every means to tie you down but in most cases - with pregnancy. They visit all manners of amadiohas and babalawos to make you think of their selfish self alone. Shine your eyes

9. Loose privates

On the premise that they easily wanna get pregnant to tie every rich guy they come across down, they tend to abort a lot in a world where rich men are very wise and never want to settle with them. Also, due to far and wide sampling of ‘wealthy guys’, they give in to every guy with flashy cars, this doesn’t exclude the lazy guys who live fake lifestyles by borrowing flashy cars.

Do I need say more? Once you sight a lady searching for wealthy guys by fire and thunder, run with your brain, arms and legs!

A word is........

You may add yours
