We have made our research and invested in Cassava plantation, processing and packaging. And that is why we are imploring Nigeria Youth to invest into this high profitable business. The start up capital is very low with more than 150% profit.
With the sum of N120,000 you can invest into the business. The start up cost is listed below for an acre of land
Leasing of an acre of land: N20,000 (this varies base on location... This leasing cost is for Ibadan in Egbeda, asejire, badeku etc)
Clearing of land by labourers per acre : N10,000
Heaping per acre: N10,000
35 Bundle of stem per acre : 35 * N400 (I.e a bundle is sold for N400 in IITA)
Weeding : N16,000 (N8000 for each weeding because its better you weed twice before harvest for optimal production)

You can also decide to venture into the processing sector of the business in which you will establish a processing plant close to farm settlement in which rural farmers can process their cassava tubers to finished garri flakes in your industry.
We can confidently tell youth to invest into this business in any of the 3 sector of the business opportunities.
