Wealth distribution and quality education will clean it up, but it will take a long time. That is the long term solution.
Law enforcement crackdown with strict punishment and a massive public awareness campaign is the only short term solution I can see. Innocent people are dying everyday, it's so heart-wrenching.

The boy sustained multiple knife injuries in his stomach and his thigh. He is currently on admission at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital UMTH.

Purple Heart Foundation in collaboration of Better Jere Initiative donated the sum of 100,000 Naira to the parents to aid the boy's medical treatments.

Ritual murders in Kenya are EXTREMELY rare and are the preserve of two communities (out of 43) because the rest either never had witchcraft(Cushitic tribes) are too modernized(Kikuyus, the largest tribe in Kenya,) or have other weird customs,like wife inheritance and wife swapping but nothing to do with ritual killings.Even in those two communities, all in the western part of Kenya, At most 2 or three take place in a year in Kenya.In fact, I believe that only 2 have happened in the past three years to date.
