The statistics up there is wrong. 44% denial rate will mean 56%of visa approval which is really incredulous. Anyone who has visited the US embassy before for a Visa interview knos that for every Visa approved about five(5) applicants are denied Visa. The only way the statistics is plausible is if those were approved after previous denials are not counted in the percentage denial. And even that will not fulfill the purpose of this article because those individuals will have to pay a new Visa application fee. 35 Likes 2 Shares |

What do you expect, from a country that sees Nigeria as a shíthole... Make Nigeria a better place and let's see if the tables won't turn. If Nigeria wasn't a shíthole, why would its citizens be seeking visa for a greener pasture up and down... See how much we have been reduced to, and robbed off.... Thanks to the greedy leaders and their praise singers.. 4 Likes |

madridguy: Just look at what you typed I don't blame the US but our useless government, both the past and the present that have made Nigeria HELL on earth to every Nigerians. So it took you 3 years plus to see that the change you voted isn't going to come Abi? Some of you think supporting Buhari means patriotism. There is a clear difference between both I'll check my laptop if I can find a copy of the Wailer's form. And start dusting your PVC. 40 Likes |

What the FG ought to do is to ensure that for any category of Nigerian visa applied for by the Americans, 500%(X5) of what they collect in their embassies here is charged. |

You cannot really blame them. They are milking from Africans' stupidity and gaulibility. It should not be by force we visit another man's country if they don't want us. Kudos to the Americans and other developed nations for making their countries so great. Meanwhile, Lagos is going to be locked down tomorrow for giant of Africa's president Buhari to commission a mere bus stop. 15 Likes 1 Share |

The 44% visa denied figure here can't be correct . The % of visa been denied is way higher then the % approved. Let's say 30% visa approved and 70% visa denied. Just saying. 8 Likes |
