Once again, it has become necessary to expose the evil genocidal killer who today has been masqueraded as a national hero of Nigeria while he is in fact, a terrorist. His name is Murtala Ramat Mohammed, a one time head of state in Nigeria in the mid 70's. It is a national shame to all Nigerians and all people of conscience that a mass-murderer, war criminal, accomplished coup plotter, homicidal terrorist like Murtala Mohammed is what Nigeria can parade as a hero worth aspiring to be.

The crimes Murtala Mohammed commited are so numerous, it would take a long time to write all here but I will mention those that expose him as the psychotic killer he was. Everything I say can be verified by anyone who knows how to use Google.

1. Murtala Mohammed led the counter coup of July 1966 where he murdered over 300 officers from the Eastern Region based on ethnic sentiments.

2. It did not stopt there, after killing all the officers of Eastern origin they could find, Murtalas Soldiers then began the killing of Igbo civilians in the North . It was on seeing this that other Northerners now joined in the massacre of Easterne,rs especially Igbos. Over 50,000 would lose their lives.

3. At the start of the war, Murtala Mohammed was made commander of the Second division. It was in this position that Murtala was to continue his killing spree. Murtala Mohammed committed at least 3 war crimes. General Akinrinade and General Ishola williams would later admit that Murtala ordered the summary execution of all captured Biafran POW's in violation of the Geneva convention. When Murtala entered Bini city, he would aid the killing of Igbos there by inaction. Murtala would later supervise the Asaba massacre where over 700 people were gunned down in cold blood.

Pa Enhoro would later confront Murtala about the Asaba massacre during the executive council meeting and Murtala didnt even bother denying it


Murtala Mohammed was such a bad commander that his Second Division was eventually destroyed in Abagana and Murtala was dismissed from the war.

Murtala Mohammed was a psychopathic killer, a failed Soldier, coup plotter, military dictator and a sociopath. Today, has Aiports, highways, buildings named after him.


Why will anyone take such a man as a hero?

because as far he is a fulani man or from the core north, he is a national hero, in helping to establish the will of northern elite controlled Nigeria.

That's what the genocidal killer called Murtala Mohammed was. Someone who helped in a large part to establish Nothern hegemony.

Just imagine, a man with such a terrible track record is put on the national currency just because he conducted a coup and ruled for 6 months! This is why the put such an evil man on the N20!!!
