A friend of mine by name John is seriously in relationship with his lover, Precious, right from his 300L(now awaiting service) in higher institution. Their relationship was very serious to the point that they agreed to marry each other as soon as he is done with his NYSC. But on the course of their courtship, the lady took in which they both accepted in good fate and agreed to keep the pregnancy but now the tension from both families is really putting them in a state of confusion and they are still contemplating whether to terminate the pregnancy or keep.

1) Do they possess the financial capacity to take care of a baby for now? Especially without the assistance of their families

2) Are they both emotionally ready to take their relationship to the next point?


Now I know some people may encourage them to keep the pregnancy, despite a negative response to the aforementioned questions based on some theory of "an uncertain future that maybe be bright", nonetheless they need to always consider the future of the innocent child they are planning to bring into this cruel world as the most significant.
