Don't give them power for 29 days and bring a bill for them to pay on the 30th day. Then watch them race to your office on the 31st day to pay it

If only we all can boycott paying these bills and demand the prepaid meters. I'm sure all these yeye discos will sit up

exactly what my community has done. No light for a month now but we no send. At least when I spend 10k on fuel I know wat am using it for instead of paying the useless eko disco

PHCN is a complete mess of an organisation by cheating people especially those without pre paid meters, paying outrageous bill for darkness yet we have a government in place.

same here, they usually bill us 8k per month ,all of a sudden they started billing us over 20k per month . I went to their offices and made reports yet nothing was done. I also filled a form yet nothing was done till date. funny enough the bill keeps getting ridiculously worse

My dear the situation is the same every where, PHCN does same here , distribute meters no, give power no yet they distribute
outrageous estimated bills and expect you to pay for darkness

I haven't had light for over one week now.

Ikeja disco supplies my area. This isn't the first time though. My gen has really suffered this period. I am just waiting for nepa bill this month.

The one language these people understand is the LAW. Threaten them with the courts and they ll stop coming to your area. Get a lawyer or lawyers. They don't like to spend money. Let the community sue the discos.

And canaanland (winners chapel church & estate) has not had a power cut since 1999. In this same Nigeria.

Clearly shows this whole thing is a management problem. That national grid needs to be decentralized.

My own area in Ikeja, Oregun precisely, they are rationing the light. 2 days on 1 day off. We asked for a new transformer, they said it wasn't available. They said each house should contribute 20k to buy. Most houses have paid. We still haven't seen or smelt any transformer. Which way Naija.
