Funny enough, he made this article 3 months into GEJ's tenure in acting capacity.

3 years later, when we make the same call, he is quick to remind us that it is too early and that it will take forever for his oga to right the wrong of the past.
Mchewwww

The same Reuben Abati is working for the presideny as his special adviser on Media. I have watched this man do a complete 360 degrees since he joined the presidents team. The same man that used to criticise the government with such eloquence is now an arse kissing spokes person defending an imcompetent and clueless president...abegi

@MODs
put
the "Hypocricy of Yesterday's men" on homepage too.
You guys are gradually killing nairaland with your hypocriy. Remember
that nairaland needs a balance of the anti and Pro GEJ to remain exciting.

Abati is singing a new song now! When he wrote this, he wasn't his adviser. Now that he is, he feels time is not running out and he has forever to continue promising without working. Abati, you wont be there forever. Posterity will judge.

People like Abati and Olusegun Adeniyi are the reason why politicians do not listen to the press. They believe that the opinion merchants in the press are just talking because they have not 'been invited to eat'.

It is a SHAME that the same person that wrote this excellent piece is today dining and wining with the SAME man he asked to hurry up.

Talk about digging up yesterdays dirt to discredit todays truth even when its staring at us in d face. D truth remains the truth nonetheless. I knew someone is gonna bring back dis stuff. Nigerians have dis habit of fighting tooth nd nails to ensure d truth remains obscure. He said dis in 2010 when all of us critics except the sentimental ones had faith in jonathan, how does dis statement made when jonathan was still a peoples man affects todays reality?

Question is though, will the Amalgamation clause be honored in the case of political unrest?

It must hurt to suddenly realize that Abati is a confused man who does a hack job for the highest bidder like Reno Omokiri..
