The attention of Peoples Democratic Party National Youth League has been drawn to a statement credited to President Muhammadu Buhari where he referred to Nigerian youths as "illiterates that crave for freebies".

While we are not surprised that such statement will come out of a highly discredited President that has lost every goodwill that he used to claim power, we are however amazed that Buhari who is yet to produce his acclaimed senior school certificate and has always been enjoying freebies from the government of Nigeria since his teenage years till this moment.

It is preposterous that Buhari would opt to embarrass himself in a big stage like the Commonwealth Head of Government meeting rather than exploit every medium to resuscitate whatever is left on bruised reputation.

The world is aware that since Buhari joined the Nigeria Army in the 60s, he has always been a leech on the purse of Nigeria government. He has no industry to his name but has been receiving pensions as military general, ex Head of State and ex-Chairman of PTF. At present, he's receiving freebies as the President of our great country.

We are equally not unaware that Buhari has a penchant for demarketing Nigeria and her citizens whenever he is given a platform.


We understand the frustration of the outgoing President of Nigeria, who is quite aware of his resounding rejection by the Nigeria people who are determined never to repeat the mistake of bringing him to power in 2015.

May this affliction called Buhari never rise the second time.
