PMB said-
"It is not in our culture for a man to marry a man, and a woman to marry a woman, the only challenges we have in Nigeria are insecurity and corruption. We will leave better without same sex marriage''.
This did not trend in the media; no hashtag.
But when he said-
“About the economy, we have a very young population, our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million. This is a very conservative one.
“More than 60 percent of that population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education for free.”
The Nigerian media imported laziness into it.

Instead of all these, its better you upload yourself holding your voters card saying you are not lazy, that alone will make us know we all mean business.

We are not where we should be as a country after several decades
But
If anyone should call Nigerian youth lazy. Let it not be a Nigerian politician talkless of the daura empty head - Buhari, who is yet to prove any sign of education or hardwork since birth

You don't understand simple English. Go listen to his briefing again and comment.

People like you are typical example of what His Excellence, President Mohammadu Buhari (GCFR) was referring to.

Am sure you were so lazy to digest his statement and dashed to come post gibberish online.

That's how lots like you have failed to decode message and keep going in circles without result and believing they hardworking.

Majority of Nigeria a you are aligning with fall into your class. Sane people like my highly esteemed and honourable self still make use of our IQ.

It is a fact that Nigerians are very hardworking people. We even create opportunities for ourselves, provide our own water, electricity, security, road, etc And still pay the government tax for doing nothing.

Old age comes with lots of things. Lets choice our leaders carefully.
the truth is that,we are very lazy in the area of politics-taking the leadership from the old men. they did that in their own age when they took the country from the colonials;they did it when some of them fought in the Biafra war,and all that. They were youths at the time, and they ruled their moment, and also ruling our moment. Only when the present youths take their destiny back. And until then, they will be forever insulted. We may not have any history, because the next generation to come may not be lenient with us to allow us rule in our old age. If what we face here were to be some whites, depression would have made them to revolt violently.

Our president is in trouble. Mr Ambode, kindly invite the president of Nigeria to visit just only mile 12 market in Lagos then, it will be left to him imagined what is happening in other areas as regards Nigerian youths. Let he him see that there are graduates amongst those doing the demeaning jobs he will see at mile 12, while his uneducated extended families are giving others in all the ministries. My president, what is happening to DPR that the youth sat for its test about four months ago? Are the government waiting for the politicians and elite children to finish youth service to occupy the positions? Nigerian youth should occupy Aso rock and all the state governors to get explanation from the government why the deliberate action to keep them jobless without light which is their number one tool to get them sanely working.

You do not have to post a pic on social media to show that you are hardworking. Real Hardworking people do not post about their works, their works do the talking for them.

I totally agree with you. Though, the issue is more complex now than then. Then, the struggle was only between white & black. But now, we have religion, tribe, ethnic, regional and all sort of divide. This has made it difficult to have a unifying voice. Funny enough, those divides only exist among the lead. A day will come when those who are not corrupt and are trustworthy will be arrested officially as an offense. The religious circle has also so much help in making people suffering and smiling. Because they have brainwash many to just pray without action. A revolution is the only thing that will change the current system to a workable one. Nigerians are on a very long ride.

We are saying the same thing, bro. the nigeria of that time was more diverse than now,but they were all able to set aside those differences to face that common goal; even though if it were to be by power they wouldn't have succeeded. Those attributes of our forefathers to put resistance against enslaving forces are lacking among the present youths. History is filled with instances of people putting resistances to oppressing forces:The Vietnams did it to the US; mandela did it in the apartheid;some igbo slaves did it;even our very people did against the colonials. But the present youth lack the ability. It may not necessarily be through violence. It will surprise you that the day the youth gather to claim their right, the present old men will easily give in. In fact,as africans stuffs like this are right of passage,a culture that introduces boys to manhood...by proving yourself worthy.
