Ate dried camel meat ( Tinko ) when I was in the north. Wasn't bad.
The one I'll never forget is one funny, smelly, cat-like animal which I had the misfortune of eating as a young lad. They called it "molooko" in Yoruba. I think it was probably a civet.
     Guess the name should have warned me. Man, the odour from this creature was amazing. It permeated the meat, the stew and was even ambient in the kitchen for days. I can vaguely perceive the smell even now many years after.

     The moral of the story is that now I avoid any strangely-named, strange-looking, or strange-smelling meat.
I'm aite with fish,(not the exotic ones o) beef, turkey and chicken please; thank you!

How does one eat Soldier ants?

I've ate lots of meat: ostrich balls, crocodile, antelope, duck, bufallo (there is this place in nairobi kenya called carnivore, there you can get all sorts of meat), but the craziest meat I've ever eaten is rat, not bush rat o original lagos gutter rat. I know this sounds funny and freaky but its true. It wasn't intentional though it was a setup by my friends i thought they were eating suya not knowing it was roasted rat with suya pepper, fortunately and unfortunately the first and only one I took was the head. Pls imagine th rest of the story,
