You guys are simply wasting your time with all get-your-pvc and let vote him out comments undecided...it won't work at aaaaalllll...he has a point in that remark but not necessarily generalizing... A lot isn't the same as ALL

Now for the record,I don't like buhari for issue like poor economy and insecurity..but Nigerian youth are way too sentimental, easily deceived and confused.most largely lack the needed capacity for deep constructive thinking!yeah in addition to cowardice (ala tuface).a typical youth waits and expect his country government to do EVERYTHING for him!...and when this expectation fails,,he heaps the blame the entire blame on the govt..becomes mentally incapacitated ,menace to ,breaks into others home while away at work sad, turns a soulless yahoo who deprivesl others of their money

But inspire of all this and for some reason ,buhari WILL win next year election by hook or by crook!
what exactly is a Nigerian supposed 2 expect from his govt and what isn't he supposed 2 expect from his govt?

If you want to know the good effect of great oratory if used positively, study the records of Winston Churchill, and co. Great speeches from former president of the US [ ] to his fellow citizens,"think not what America can do for you;think of what you can do for America to make her great", went a lot to ginger the American people to sacrifice for their country. Great orators have used good public speeches to change the cause of history of their people for good. For a leader, good oratory/public speech that command respect is as good as the policies u execute. Your good intentions could be lost due to careless statements. #Buhari has an f9:in act of public speaking.

Kept taking Nigeria to the mud. The fowl-mouthed old crap has released two stench-full poos just in one visit.

First, Nigerian youths whom he said make up majority of the population are lazy and uneducated. That means, the country lacks the potential for investment as the people do not posses skill-set and mental ability needed for industrial growth and development.

Second, he vomited the venom that "Nigeria is vandalised." Pls, which Int'l investor will invest in a vandalised country? How will they be assured of return on investment in a vandalised country like Nigeria?

And, worst off, the President makes these statements and there are FOOLS that say, yes, he's right. How fast Nigeria is dying.

You forgot to add the issue of Gaddafi trained fighters invading Nigeria

[quote author=lexy2014 post=66888745]what exactly is a Nigerian supposed 2 expect from his govt and what isn't he supposed 2 expect from his govt?[/quotefrom government ,all he needs is an enabling environment where much needed raw materials, skills, etc ,are readily available at least to some extent going by Africa standard and level as a mostly a third world but brain, intelligent, creativity, to solve problem like those of the European,American, Italian,British youth like Edison,Galileo, Planck, newton, to Menton but a few young men who changed the course and destiny of their respective country for good just by using those three criteria mentioned ARE NOT SOMETHING TO BE EXPECTED from your govt...it up to you!if you know how many skill I'm capable of handling and executing PROFESSIONALLY... and yet I didn't learn any of it while in school!face it!,most Nigerian youth are mentally indolent!all they want and think about is a quick fix ,a short cut to fame, wealth ,the path of least resistance without going through the pain!I see them all the time, their favorite subject is discussing football match scores!betnaija and bragging about a footballer who doesn't know shii about their miserable lives!ask them question like computer application, stem cell, climate change etc and you'd immediately draw blank look as response..youth like these are no asset but problem.buhari was right in describing as lazy LOT(mentally and physically!)forget all these brouhaha noise ,it's just the plain truth

Respect to those hardworking ones out there though cool

Buhari is a weak leader. He cannot inspire or galvanize the citizens with his words.

The president knows the particular set of lazy youths he is talking about.

The mistake was he made a sweeping statement which could point to the fact that he is not in tune with his people.

But we know, recognize and applaud our overachieving youths both home and abroad who have been making great strides and have put Nigeria back in the limelight.
