Politics, politicians. Well, politics, is defined as the activities involved in getting and using power in public life, and being able to influence decisions that affect a nation.
Politician; a person whose job is concerned with politics, especially as an elected member of parliament.

From the above, you'll deduce politcians are very important people, they have absolute power in developing a nation and it's their job to. Nigeria has thousands of politicians tasked and well equipped with developing and upholding her so why is Nigeria not developing as fast as it can? Go figure.
Nigeria's major problem is the politicians themselves. They are dishonest, incapable, hateful etc.

With a population of about 180M, we always manage to elect the worst people, the scorn. Why? WHY? In capital letters.

Some very disgusting but true characteristics of your average Nigerian politician:

In office, we have; politicians that embezzle national funds to sponsor their extravagance lifestyles. They buy very expensive fast cars, bikes, biggest mansions etc while the masses suffer with minimum wage. 30k? How can a nation develop when many citizens are made to suffer, while a few live large as kings.

-They are good at talking carelessly without correct facts; we have a minister of info who forever struggles to give accurate info. A president that accuses youth of being lazy? Wanting free healthcare? In Nigeria?? Are you being serious? What healthcare system does Nigeria have? If we have healthcare systems in the country then why do y'all run abroad anytime you have a migraine? Or you just feel like wasting taxpayers money huh? How dare you accuse someone of being lazy when there are hardly 9-5 jobs? Hardly any job whatsoever and majority of the people work 7-10pm jobs.

-Quick assumption, they jump to conclusions like a pack of monkeys on bananas. Like tagging a cause group terrorists. Like 'it wasn't herdsmen, it's communal clashes, herdmen carry sticks not guns' etc

-Tendency to talk about irrevant things, on social media they can never be seen talking about national development, instead, you can see them flaunting fast cars or talking BBN cheesy

*They encourage division; well like they say divide and conquer. That's what they do by using means like instilling hate in one tribe with another. Tribalism is a major issue in Nigeria. A disease that persists even with the great numbers of literacy. There is no way the nation will go forward if we are in chains of tribalism. Which is exactly what they want. They have you looking at the next man from another tribe as an enemy but the real enemy is the politician. Tribe or race issues are baseless. 21st century folks, 21st.

-They don't care about human lives; they watch and laugh while helpless innocent people are getting killed everyday.

-They don't care about infrastructure; structures that were build in 1800s are not getting renovated every few years or restructured after many years. Bad roads everywhere they use them too and don't give a damnn.

-They commission anything even a retail store or ATM or electric pole or pothole patches.

-They don't represent the nation well; most of them who go to world conferences never really contribute and represent Nigeria well. They have the stage to talk but they run or are mute. Pretty sure they are not proud to be Nigerians, well no one should really be.

-They act like goons, it's not uncommon to see senators throwing punches in chambers or jumping over gates/fences or doing other rough stuff.

-They sorta speak in tongues; we have senators (that are maybe 'too educated') that speak english that the englishman too don't understand. What's the point of saying sh!t that don't no one understands?

-They hardly have public conferences; they avoid addressing the masses, cos they think they are not serving and so not answerable to anyone or anything rather they take themselves demi gods.

.
What have we done to deserve these kinda people, sure don't know but do know that we can change things by demanding better from them. We need to be careful who we give our votes, we need political debates to access the candidates.

The fact that these mediocre politicians still have many supporters is hard to understand but harder to understand is the fact they use peanuts to garner the support they enjoy.

To those supporters when you realise you sold your kingdom to the devil, it might be too late. With the kingdom gone, hell will be your only refuge... Wake up people.

To any sh!t politician, you human and humans can improve and even change. Change for the better...

If you're still about the same old sh!t then know this we as a people will no longer be made to suffer for the few, NO! We change sh!t this time. We as a people are formidable, you can't mess with unity. We are taking out the trash.

We demand good
governance!
We need and deserve
educated and innovative minds to lead
us not mediocre individuals who
shouldn't even be leaders of anything at all.
We will use votes judiciously to elect
the scorn out to nursing home, asylum, jail etc where
neccesary.

In words akin to one of
our own, a certain PDP personnel, 'WE
WILL NOT TAKE IT!'

Mediocrity can not be
allow to fly. We can not continue to be
a joke.

'All that is necessary for the
triumph of evil is that good men do
nothing'' -Edmund Burke

So to the good
men of Nigeria, your country needs you more than ever,
stand for it and we will stand behind you.
This is our moment of calling, to
every Nigerian to step up to aid in
rebuilding a nation, a nation of great
things.

To freedom, peace, love, unity
and progress. To a new dawn.
