We Humans Are Making The World A Sick Place, Yet We Blame God by alBHAGDADI: 6:33am On Apr 29, 2018 |
When we humans mess things up, we turn around to blame God. We forget that he gave us all we need to make life better for each and everyone of us, but we mismanage them. Look at what is happenning in Nigeria today. We are laying the foundation for our dooming, and we are stupidly cheering it on. We are gradually becoming proud of doing the wrong things. Look at those we are celebrating and enriching; people of questionable character. Tonto Dikeh recently bagged a Niger Delta award for PEACE. From the outfit she wore to the event, it shouldn't take anyone to study rocket science to know she doesn't represent peace. Someone that couldn't maintain the peace in her marriage and is known to be violent is now seen as an ambassador for peace in a troubled Niger Delta region. Now we know why the region is the way it is. BamBam who got sexed in the toilet is now getting endorsed and interviewed all across media houses. When will a girl who scored the highest in WAEC get such attention? We humans hardly read their news. But when it comes to BBNaija, we known everything about the show. Still, we turn around to wonder why children now prefer to pay for miracle centres when they want to write exams. Bisola who was live on TV s*cking and munching d*ck is now a UN ambassador for the girl child. Female children are to now look up to her and draw inspiration from her actions. Can you all now see why the UN is sick and can never bring peace? BBNaija Do you think it makes sense for a show to give millions to an individual in a country where millions are wallowing in poverty? What exactly did the individual do to deserve such? What does that teach our youths? It teaches them that hardwork doesn't pay cos you can now sleep and have sex to become a millionaire. People see nothing wrong with the show. Many youths are out there getting up early to catch the morning bus so as to beat traffic, while someone who slept for months woke up a millionaire. Is that money not enough to end the poverty of thousands? Why give it to just one person who did not significant that others can't do? Many youths are looking for funds to go for farming or start up a business, yet these multinational companies are endorsing BBNaija housemates with millions, housemates who spent months indoors doing nothing. The sad part is that people see nothing wrong in all of these. They won't until we all look back and don't know where a problem came from. 159 Likes 24 Shares

alBHAGDADI:I'm ignoring the other parts of your post cuz TBH I couldn't care less what a divorcee wore and I've never watched a second of this BBnaija of a thing but I'm more interested in this part I quoted so I'll bite it goes both ways when Humans does something good then God is automatically credited. If a governor constructs a new road the populace would quickly credit God for it, when the road is bad and is causing accidents humans suddenly becomes responsible. this is highly hypocritical When all good things are credited to God, and all evil is thrown at the feet of mankind, it makes thinking people conclude that theists have only invented a god as a sort of repository for holding all positive beliefs, such as hope for the future, surviving our mortality by means of an afterlife, etc. If God gets all the credit when things are getting better, he also gets all the blame when things are getting worse. And trying to have it both ways is just further evidence to me that God is an invention of man rather than the inverse. 42 Likes |

hopefulLandlord: When has God ever been credited for roads constructed by a governor? Is it not the governor's praises that is heard and seen on billboards? When we see the evil result of mankind's actions, we blame mankind. That is the sensible thing to do. Man never praises God for good that man did. Man claims the praise. Why then do we lay the blame of our foolishness at God's feet? 31 Likes 1 Share |

alBHAGDADI: Unless you once dated Tonto, or you are a relative, then I wont take your words serious I have met Devils preaching the Bible, and I have angels with tattoos Bill Gates doesn't believe in God, but he has given more in charity that our men of God in Nigeria put together. Don't judge bro Concerning Bisoler, you are not in the UN, are you? Your concern should be what she preaches now, and not what she was. Or if Bisoler, becomes a preacher of God's word tomorrow, you'll demean because she attended BBN? Common And as for companies, you don't know how much they spend on corporate social responsibility. Some have foundations where they allocate part of their profit to the benefit of mankind. So, if they decide to give 2 million naira to someone, that should make them bad Abi? Bros, just do your own part. And pray for everyone to do the same. Shikena. Stop judging sir 20 Likes 1 Share |

alBHAGDADI:When good is a result of mankind's actions the religious would credit god whether directly or indirectly Maybe the "billboards" would credit the governor cuz such billboards are made by the parties of the governor trying to piggyback on the "good" the governor did. However the main people would credit god or at least credit both god and the governor but when a road is bad none of those same people would in anyway bring god into the picture. Maybe you're finding that example controversial so I'll use another one When someone is sick, goes to hospital and doctors work day and night to make sure the sickness is treated and possibly cured. such a person would get well and give all credit to god. such a person would go to church and give testimonies that it was his prayer that healed him. such a person might even not tell the audience he went to hospital at all. Doctors would rarely/never get any credit for the work they did even if they were doing it for free like Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) but god gets all the credit. If it so happens that such a person wants to credit the doctor its going to be a backhanded compliment like "I thank god for enabling the doctors and using them to treat my disease" or something in that line. However if while treating the man some complication develops that makes the situation worse than it was before he visited the hospital, God would suddenly be out of the picture and ALL the blame would be put on the doctors. 22 Likes 3 Shares |

hopefulLandlord:Can you cite an instance in which people praise God for a road construction and not the governor? Pls, stop making baseless arguments. Man was created to do good. But some of us choose to do evil. Doing good shows we acknowledge God's plan for us. Doing evil is rebellion to God. Who created the doctors? Who created the leaves and herbs he uses for his medicine? Your hate for God has made you not to realize that people often thank doctors first before going to thank God. When they get certified cured, they immediately say ''thank you doctor''. I wonder why people like you find it annoying that those people decide to go thank the creator of the doctor and his medicine after they leave the hospital. 15 Likes |

izzou:You are not to take my words serious, but pls take her actions serious. Someone seen in a video trying to slap her then husband is no ambassador for peace. When did we throw away the days when we investigate very well before we make decisions? With all her questionable lifestyle which she effortlessly throws in our faces, we still see her as a good example of peace. Bill Gates is part of the problem. He belongs to those corporations that cause the problem but give crumbs back to save face. You won't understand. Are you seriously telling me that Bisola is now preaching good and no more down with her ways? What have you to say concerning the outfit she wore to the BBNaija final? Role model for girls indeed. Pls mention one or two social responsibility carried out by the companies currently endorsing the housemates. I bet you will have to run to google where you might still not find any. But you know of what they gave the housemates. Why does it have to be like that? 10 Likes |

izzou: nice,, the op is more concern about those people moral standard which is more than questionable...That is, Showcasing evil is the yardstick for greatness. It is well but what I am very sure about is that man is man's problem... The world is hostile because the people are hostile. The world is becoming more useless because the people are becoming more useless. 8 Likes |

alBHAGDADI: Oga, every good thing a politician does would get connected to god be it directly or indirectly. only someone who hasn't been at an unveiling would think otherwise
@bolded You made my point for me, you scored an own goal If someone feeds another with "water hemlock" and the fed person dies, why not blame god too by your logic? after all that "someone" was created by god and water hemlock too which was used for the killing was created by the same god You just proved my first post on this thread, you want to credit god for any good done using some logic but don't want to hear such logic also means god should be blamed for the bad! You want god to get credit when doctor heals patients with Medicines and herbs cuz god created both the doctor and the herbs but when "god created" fatal plants are used by someone "god created" to kill another, god doesn't get any of the blame. pick a struggle 17 Likes |

hopefulLandlord:Very wrong. That water hemlock, irrespective of how poisonous it is, can still be used for good. It can be used to make pesticides to kill insects and rodents destroying crops. But when a man decides to use it to kill an innocent man, the fault can't be placed on the hemlock nor God. The fault lies solely on the evil man that used God's creation for evil. It's simple as creating a car and giving it to someone to drive. Driving the car about does him good. But when he decides to intentionally ram the vehicle into a large crowd at the bus stop, can you blame the car or the person who gave him? No. You blame the evil man behind the steering wheel. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

alBHAGDADI: You keep moving around like a leaf on water and giving self defeating posts for your vehicle analogy, IF the giver won't receive any blame for the ramming of the car into a crowd by someone he gave the car to THEN the giver shouldn't be given any credit if the car were used to save a life like driving a dying person to the hospital attempt to credit the giver only when the car is used for good and solely blaming the recipient when the car is used for bad is trying to eat cake and having it this thing shouldn't be too difficult for you as I'm looking at both sides while you look at only one narrow side 17 Likes 1 Share |
