There are many unanswered questions about this "secret" invention, it cannot have a patent because it cannot be scientifically proven. He must define the energy source and how to replenish it . Nah, Edison tried so hard to discourage the advancement of AC which was tesla's invention. But Tesla wasn't very rich, so at some point he went on to work for Edison, history has it that Tesla improved the DC electricity while he worked for Edison but Edison is regarded as the father of electricity even though Tesla contributed significantly, and AC electricity seems to be more widely used.

Back to my point - This black man may be hired by Elon and his methods will be used to improve electric cars, but history will only remember Elon Musk.
