A man who already had biological children = fertile A woman who can't and still allegedly sleeps with other men maybe to confirm her already known barrenness = still barren. She is frustrated and wants to punish the man for being fertile and punish his children because she couldn't have any. They are both lawyers and, even if it's her alone alone, she know that the law will not let his children go empty. So she killed him. She should have used snipper or something to kill herself.
