Ishilove: Aunty Lagos has bn dirty and chaotic even before Ambode emerged governor. There is thoughtlessness sprinkled all over your "Ambode is a disaster" anthem Moreover it is not in unison with the topic of discussion! |

Re: How Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge Was Built (Photos) by nopains: 4:41am On May 07, 2018 |
yinkarh187: all cable bridges have at least two pylons or towers with cable suspending its deck but lekki only have one pylon or tower. what is it suspending here? it is either u use cable or pillars to suspend a bridge. using the two at same time as used in lekki bridge is just a waste of money for purpose of fancy. it is a beautiful bridge but don't call it suspension bridge technically. 1 Like

BafanaBafana: What? Do you not know that this is Nigeria? Are you not aware that in this country we ALWAYS waste money? How else can we tell the world we are doing well if we don't waste money doing all our things in a backwards fashion? "The money SPENDED was well SPENSED. 1 Like |

Babysho: Do you have any idea where this bridge is? He drew a line between Ikoyi and Lekiki Phase 1, and you can clearly see the link bridge between those two power points as well. No matter how much you like Unilag (maybe it is your alma mater), this bridge is not not and never will be near the area he drew the lines. |

BafanaBafana: Those places you marked are too close to achieve elevation of 9m above waterline. Even 9m height is too small as far as some ships are concerned. |

adem30: Ambode that traffic got scary in his first few months as governor? Ambode that potholes started popping everywhere under his governorship? Ambode, the smart-alec that tried to kill a working PSP model for waste management, with the scam called visionscape? Ambode should not even be in the same sentence with Fashola. |
Re: How Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge Was Built (Photos) by Nobody: 7:29am On May 07, 2018 |
BafanaBafana: Did you consider all the houses that would have been demolished, and the resistance their rich Ikoyi owners would have put up? Did you consider the impact of traffic on a hitherto inner neighbourhood? |

Believe it or not I have seen small bridges cast insitu , what you should have said was that major bridges are precast Abudu2000: |

BafanaBafana:Very Bad idea. If you calculate the number of houses to be demolished and their value, it won't be worth it. |
Re: How Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge Was Built (Photos) by yinkarh187(m): 8:03am On May 07, 2018 |
nopains:I disagree sir, it's possible for a cable stayed bridge to have just one pylon. I've never been to lekki before but if the span is short then it's possible to use 1 pylon at the middle of the bridge. |

adem30: Yes! Ambode, in less than 4 years, has outperformed the clueless, arrogant and corrupt Fashola! It is useless for a governor to be obsessed with developing only highbrow areas to the detriment of the suburbs. We had the worst strike by medical doctors during the regime of the corrupt and over-hyped Fashola. Only a mad governor would say he has sacked 700 medical doctors! |

BafanaBafana: It's not by drawing lines, it's linking existing road to avoid minimal acquisition of properties. Look at the landing. To pass through your lines. You will acquire billions of property in compensation |
Re: How Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge Was Built (Photos) by santricedupas(m): 10:02am On May 07, 2018 |
BafanaBafana: they can't make it shorter, 1. there will be much hold up in lekki peninsula phase 1, because motorist will have to pass through inner streets. 2. it will alter the master plan of lekki phase 1. 3. it links ikoyi sw, banana island and lekki faster. |
