1. Earlier today, I tweeted about how the IGP is disobeying the laws that he is meant to protect.

Take a look at this court judgement issued by Justice Abba-Bello Muhammad of the FCT High Court, Abuja on Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 dismissed the suit filed by the IGP. #Thread https:///ATRYg9bGL8

2. On Page 37 the Court held that the IGP could not establish a likely breach of fair hearing in the case filed against the Nigerian Senate. https:///BNJTPg0wwx

3. On page 38, the Federal High Court ruled that the law specifies that “a mere invitation to appear before an investigative body” like the Senate does not amount to an infringement of the rights of the IGP. https:///pEtHBmcOYX

4. On Page 40, the Federal High Court CLEARLY specifies that Sections 88 and 89 of the Constitution entitles the Senate to conduct investigations. https:///tDUgSeGslk

5. On Page 41, the Federal High Court also ruled that the IGP’s application to stop a Senate investigation is an outright contradiction of himself. https:///hEMTKiku9w

6. Finally, the Federal High Court ruled that: THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY HAS THE SAME INVESTIGATIVE POWERS AS THE NIGERIAN POLICE as established in Sections 88 and 89 of the Constitution.
