You can say that again. I'm not Catholic but I can testify that the Catholic church, Adventist have made huge investments in Education that even surpasses that of Nations.

Yes KU Leuven was founded by the catholics in 1425, just like Yale university was founded by methodist and harvard founded by puritian clergies. But I am not sure KU still retains that religious theme anymore. Many of the IVY Leagues and top 100 universities were founded by churches but the churches lost control of them..

Missionary schools have been in the forefront of educational growth and development in world, I just wish the ones in Nigeria will have a template for educational growth of the nation so that in the nearest future we would also look back and smile the way we are doing for Notre Dame.
