Anyone conversant with redistricting processes that starts after census reports? In places like New York Democrats have the edge but in Republican controlled States could be otherwise, usually redistricting can help any party control the House in next election.

Redistricting happens every 10 years after the Census and it's the functions of each States to determine how it will be done. That's by the House of Representatives and State Senates and it will be signed by the State Governor to become law. Where the problem is the way each party deals with the redistricting. The Party in power in the States always have the advantage in redistricting.
