Look, Nigeria should stop using Ghanaian actors. Niger filmmakers should concentrate on giving, out-of-work-Nigerians more opportunity. Nigerians should understand that like India, in Asia, Ghana is a white man’s tool. Whites will always give them a helping hand in the outside world. I bet even now, as I type, some grand design is being hatched in the film-making world with whites providing, equipments, training in editing, marketing and distributions for Ghanaians in order to influence the financial potential of film making in Africa and the political potential of film-making to cause social havoc.

Nigeria and Nigerians should be weary of Ghanaians. Nigerians should wish Ghana good luck and face the other way. We tangle with Ghana and we will lose confidence, bit by bit and be dragged down never to fulfill the great potential that we have. We are a breezy, hopeful and go getting people.

There is no doubt,Ghana gat good actors and actresses, but there ar no match for Nigerians actors and actresses in anyway u can ever think of.

ghana dem actors dey more natural and comfortable on the stage. cheap labour cannot be the reason they are popular in naija. they respect themselves and follow laid down agreements. in fact they are more professional.

i'll also say bleep ghana. i used to have this brotherly love for the ghanains till i started visiting their websites and i saw the pure undiluted hatred they have for nigerians. if you open a thread similar to this on ghanaweb, they won't even bother defending their gollywood people, they will only be heaping insults on nigeria and nollywood. there's so much bitterness amongst those poeple i wonder why.

Nigerian movie stars definately. Even those who were terrible (Stephanie and Ini) when they started have gone on to learn their craft and improve. Many are now producing their own movies. Even with Ghanaian actors which are good like Majid, he is better when he acts along side Nigerian actors and actresses in Nollywood films. Its like they match his talent, whereas his own Ghanaian collegues are simply outclassed by him in films.


The new breed of Nollywood films are the best between the two. I do like the fact bthat Nollywood is open to Ghanaian actors too, it means Nollywood is staying relevant to both and beyond.

Nigerian producers ar after Ghanian actresses and actors cos they are cheaper, expose too much flesh unnecessarily. And anyway they are jst used 2 add spice and change 2 the nollywood industry, but by no means better than nigerian actors/actresses.
Besides, these gollywood actors (abi they ar 5 or is it 6) use too much make up in scenes that are unsuitable, ar nt fashionable,and there producers ar forever recycling thesame locations (BIG MASSIVE HOUSES).

I think their Movies are more emotional than Nollywood. They act passionately when it comes to being romantic, tongue kiss and even go a lil bit more than that, but Nollywood wont even get my cock hard, LOL give it to the ghanians, we invites them to our movies, we call for their Help, LOL take it or u leave it. Comparing the Ghanaian movies stars to the Nigerian is like comparing Bollywood to Hollywood….   The problem here is that Ghanaians are just trying to fast track their industry up to the level of Nollywood that’s why they are throwing money at it but still a bit short of the quality of Nollywood……….

But going at the current pace theirs a strong chance to the Ghanaians could surpass the Nigerian movie industry…


But i have always thought the nigerian acting is hideous but Ghanaian takes the biscuit, they need to invest in some drama or acting school

I'm yet to see a Ghanian actor or actress who can act. Not a Nollywood fan but it's an insult to even THINK of comparing the Ghanians talentwise to Nigerian actors.
