Southern Nigeria is either cursed or blinded by stupidity.
That very small part of the country is already broken into pieces. The Holy Book says : "A house divided against itself shall not stand"

Nigeria is divided into two tribes:
NORTH and SOUTH!

While the morons in the south were barking at themselves as dogs fighting over territorial superiority,
The North quietly comes to steal some part of the already small land for itself to be even larger than the little idiots altogether.

The North will continue to dominate Nigeria even for another 100 years.

You'd have thought that modern civilization and education plus history will make the southerners know better and find a common ground to unite and take their rightful place, but alas! The offsprings of the south have swallowed even more dangerous venoms more potent than their fathers'.

They spit it with tact, vigour and sophistication proudly displaying the curse upon their heads with vituperative splendor.
Before they realize that they will eventually become bondsmen of the Northerners, it would have been late.

This is where you will see that language is a more potent weapon of warfare and power than religion. No wonder God scattered the language of men who planned to build the Tower of Babel.

The North is united by language even though with different religious beliefs.
The South is divided by language even though with one major religion.

I am just an observer of history, documenting enough for my children and their children.

I am Dada-Stephen.

Many of these boys on nairaland wont make a comment without regional undertone..(like the mention of South East West or North.. especially East. This is probably because of the likes they get from their fellow tribal warriors.

Right now, I don't think Nigeria has a bigger problem than these set of people.

This everlasting regional divide is one thing Jonathan & Patience did successfully during their reign asides looting of our common wealth

Stop being stupid. Why should FG be seeking for laws to control all the streams, rivers n ocean in Nigeria Name one thing that FG controls in Nigeria that isn't in shambles or that hasn't been completely destroyed

Pls FG should focus on developing Nigeria, They have been dragging oil, last time they were dragging land now it's water resources. Pls even if u insist on being stupid, do it privately.

The everlasting divide in Nigeria was brought about by Buhari.

this is what we call reasoning.

Eyah. You had to queue behind a minority tribe because you don't have a voice of your own. How the mighty have fallen!

Yoruba have made their voice heard. We reject the bill. APC is different from Yoruba. Some of those northern senators are PDP. PDP is still not an ibo party.

You lack identity. You are just senseless thinking this is about APC or PDP. Mumu.

The entire South don't seem to understand what these guys from the North are trying to do. These barbarians are desperately trying to control everything down South even when they don't bring anything to the table. The SE and SS are agitating for either to split completely or partially but the SW are busy playing Ostrich. They have even disowned their sons like Fayose and Kayode who have seen the bigger picture just to prove to their masters up north how loyal they are to the caliphate.

Example, blood will flow if buhari enters east. We will die with him. Only to went into oblivion moment buhari came. Waved at you, collected titles. Only for chest beaters start cursing their fathers n mother's in the market that threatening them that of they vote, they will die. They voted n they couldn't do anything. That is real definition of cowardice. Coward tribe that only fight by mouth n beating chest.

First, they wanted lands through cow colony...now they want the Sea for cow water

But can you blame them, they smell blood. Especially when you have cowards and greedy criminals parading as senator and governor in the Biafran areas. Look at the shame that happened in Awka recently for people asking for restructuring in an open setting/square. Does that seem to be a serious group of people for you?

Heavenly Father, do not allow this evil agenda to succeed.

Touch the hearts of Senators from MB, SW, SE and SS. Cause them to unite and kill this evil agenda of the evil Caliphate. Do not allow the wicked to bribe our Senators in order to achieve their evil Territorial Expansionist Agenda by going through the back door to capture the MB and Southern Nigeria.

Let all their wicked and evil schemes to capture and enslave Your people come to nought.

Thank you for granting our request.

Who was dipping Koran in the sea when Obasanjo and Jonathan had these powers to control water resources at their finger tips? When the much clamoured Ibo president emerges, what will he be dipping in the sea or desert?

I fully support devolution of powers to foster faster use and deployment of our natural resources than what the FG has been able to achieve in almost 60 years with all the powers.
But we should be careful of flippant statements which can make those you need to see your point of view more adamant.

If we still continue to sell restructuring and devolution of powers as a win-loose scenario we won't make any progress except by bloody warfare which we must not loose.

Water War has started...part of the war between Isreal and Palestine... The only Executive Bill from Buhari, and this is what he has to present..we are saying that there are too much powers in the centre..he is bringing in more power to the centres....this bill has clandestine intentions...
Re: Resource Control Splits Senators by Ovamboland(m): 6:29pm On May 25, 2018
namet:
Akpabio did a fantastic job by opposing this demonic Bill. While it would seem that only the littoral/riverine states would have issues with these, it is indeed counter intuitive when the Nigerian population is clamoring for and shouting that they want more powers devolved to states, where development of the different parts of the country actually take place.

One wonders why the North is always bent on controlling water resources in this country. Could it be because the riverine states have the crude oil? First, they wanted the south to give free lands to fulanis and northerners for cattle ranches. That was rejected. This is another ploy to take ownership of southern Nigeria, by saying they own the waters which essentially boxes the entire south in.

Indeed, Buhari and the north has very bad intentions for the southern part of this country. The entire southern Nigeria should wake up immediately and reject this proposed law. Again, Akpabio has done very well by rejecting this law that will officially render southern Nigeria as slaves.

No sane southerner should support this law. At a time when the federal government should be handing-off many sectors and allowing the states to breath, the northern fulanis are fixated at annexing as much powers to the federal government because they control it?

If Jonathan or Obasanjo had proposed taking over ownership of "land resource and related matters," essentially seizing who controls the big land in northern Nigeria, would the sultans or sanusis or even this Buhari not have gone to war to stop it? ALL SENATORS FROM SOUTHERN NIGERIA MUST OPPOSE THIS PROPOSED LAW. The governors from southern states should also speak against this law as a matter of urgency.

WE NEED THE INCOMPETENT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO HANDS OFF THINGS IN THIS COUNTRY SO THAT EACH STATE CAN DEVELOP THE WAY IT SEES FIT, AND NOT BE CONTROLLED BY SOME DUMB PRESIDENT FROM THE BACKWARD-MOST PART OF THE COUNTRY - THE NORTH.

AGAIN, I THANK SENATOR GODSWILL AKPABIO OF AKWA IBOM STATE FOR DEFENDING SOUTHERN NIGERIA AGAINST ITS TAKEOVER BY THE FULANIS AND THE NORTH

Will Buhari or any other northerner rule the country forever? Water resources had been under federal control since the end of civil war, Southerners have led the country since then what did they do with it? One was trying to frustrate Tinubu when he tried to establish IPP because power was federal controlled. Another southern president refused to give some approval to governor Fashola to fully deploy ferries and jetties along the lagoon because of fg control.

How's that the fault of northern president's?
