President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday stated that his retention of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo as running mate for the 2019 presidential election was under threat. Buhari said this at the Aso Villa in Abuja on Friday while receiving a delegation of the Conference of Nigerian Female Parliamentarians, CNFP. Newsworth recalls that Osinbajo had earlier this month averred that he did not beg to become Nigeria’s Vice President, stressing that he would rather vacate his office as the nation’s Number Two citizen than compromise his Christian faith.
