It will happen when Research and Development, or R&D, becomes big business in Nigeria. When innovation becomes lucrative, we will start seeing stuff like this in Naija. Everything in Naija revolves around money/profits. |

The story is deceptive. The 'ladder to heaven' is the normal part of a bridge in many bridges all over the world. |

Jackossky: When the constitution is re-written to take tough/hard-line against corruption. When the constitution is re-written to dis-allow high-ranking Gov't officials and political figures from sending their families abroad to enjoy quality infrastructures they deny the Nigerian citizens. When majority of Nigerians start reasoning with common sense... When we stop adulating mediocrity and stupidity... like worshiping the worldly and mundane frivolities we can't even produce.. When there's equitable distribution of wealth.. When we start killing the politicians that embezzle our resources for personal gains When we start realizing that Tinubu and other major political figures are the cause of stalled progression in our society et al.... 1 Like |

Yewandequeen: 2050 is a mirage. I still remember in the 90s, Nigerian politicians then where screaming vision 2020 as the time when Nigeria will become a paradise on Earth, they thought that 2020 was so far to come by so they kept shouting vision 2020 mantra as a time buying strategy to keep fooling the eternally gullible Nigerians. This is 2018, just 2 more years to 2020 with no paradise insight except for accelerated backwardness. The honest answer is this "Never" 7 Likes |

China with visionary leaders but here it is the other way round. The only thing they know is to amass wealth at the expense of the masses as if they want to buy land in heaven. |

Jackossky: China is a nation of people that has existed for 3000 years. As per, one leader system over all of them. They were never democratic. Nigeria as a Nation with ONE leader over all our different cultural groups has existed for 100 years. 50 before Independence, 50 after. - All developed nations have existed for longer. 400, 500, 5000 years. So we are still learning work. |

It's great to see 'fully' developed countries still looking for other means to get themselves more developed. Africa needs to learn. Money isn't our issue. Capable minds isn't our issue. We just need to get our priorities right! |
