*** CAN GOD TRUST YOU WITH HIS ANOINTING

Our God is not wasteful with His anointing. He alone determines whom He raises up, not us. Before God’s anointing comes upon a man, that man has been Chosen and marked out for an assignment. God is a progressive worker, so also the anointing of God. As the man concerned applies himself to that assignment, his anointing will continue to increase.

The degree to which you walk with God will determine the degree of anointing and everything else you experience in life. As you deepen your walk with God, He will broaden your anointing, influence, opportunities, relationship and ministry. He seems to be able to trust us with more because He knows He is our life and our walk with Him is superior to all other people, places or things. And so, if you as a man or child of God want to remain in the anointing of God, you must continue in the assignment God has given you in righteousness.

God can never compromise His standard. No matter how deep you may be operating in the anointing of God, once you go into sin, the Spirit of God that stirs the anointing of God will leave you. That was exactly what happened in the life of Samson. Samson was a great man of God whom God raised to deal with Philistines. Along the way, Samson’s anointing ended up in Delilah’s laps. Yet, he Samson did not know that the Spirit of God has left him. According to the Scripture in JUDGES 16:20, “…AND HE AWOKE OUT OF SLEEP, AND SAID I WILL GO OUT AS OTHER TIMES BEFORE AND SHAKE MYSELF…” At this point, Samson was empty and that made him a prey in the hands of his enemies (Philistines). May your anointing not end in the laps of any woman, man or through covetousness, pride, or contention etc.

Saul was another man like Samson that the Spirit of God left as noted in 1 SAMUEL 16:14. When he saw that the Spirit of God has left him, he went to consult familiar spirit (1 SAMUEL 28:8-15). And this is what most people do today. Most churches operate by the power of marine kingdom, fallen angels, demonic kingdoms and seducing spirits. And when you are deceived to go there for consultation or solution to your problems, they will give you prophecy and all sorts of things or items ranging from broom, salt, olive oil, water, handkerchief, soap to bath with etc. But at the end, your condition/problems will not change for good, instead they becomes worse than before.

It is worth noting that, you can stir the anointing in you through righteous and holy living, constant fellowship with God, doing the work of God-evangelism, always studying the word of God, continuous prayers and worship, abiding in His Presence etc.
Many people in the Bible like Enoch, Elijah, Elisha, Peter, Paul, Esther, Samuel, Nehemiah etc kept their anointing till the end without compromise. By God’s special grace, we will keep our anointing and will not fail God in Jesus Name…AMEN!!!
