If you've actually been following the NFF you wouldn't have said that.. It is very true, the first time they won't have no money issues going into a major tournament, the Amaju Pinnick led NFF made sure of that.

I watched Amaju on Sunrise daily about 3 weeks ago where he told Chamberlain the measures put in place for the SE to have a hitch free tournament. They negotiated and reached an agreement based on percentage and so far the NFF hasn't reneged.


And everything shouldn't be about politics, if you do not know you should ask rather than cast aspersions.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Relations & Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has explained that the video was doctored.

Writing on her Twitter, she claimed the error was made just once, and special effects were used to repeat it. She wrote:

Again i say you aren't current with happenings as regards the NFF and the SE, it has absolutely nothing to do with the APC govt or Buhari.. exactly my point. Govts around d world one way or another fund their football federations. Because of this, they interfered in its running. If u are familiar with this topic, u will realise that govts in time past in Nigeria and other countries disbanded their football federation executives citing corruption, mismanagement especially when their football teams fail. They did this cause they funded their federations. FIFA noticed this trend and decided to step in. Now if any govt interferes in d running of its football federation cause it funds it, that country will b banned from every FIFA organised competition. Goodluck was d last president to try it, but fifa threatened him and he backed down
