8+6=14,14 days=2weeks
6+4=10,10days make 1wk 3dys
The test
4+4=8=1.1
1.2=7days+2days=9+5=14=2
6+3=9=1.2
5+6=11=1.4
3+2=5=0.5

I know you have gotten the solution. But still try to study modulus. It's a scheme in mathematics. Not popular though.

submit your answers without including DAYS and you better take your time to explain it to ur child cos it would be a total waste of time if you don't explain it.

Sometimes I honestly don't understand thies quantitative reasoning and I can't help but pity the children. . .

l don't love math, don't hate it either, it was a necessary evil through school, or so I thought. The only math textbook I can remotely remember where I stored it is my Engineering Maths. It's been some years since dealing with modulus at uni, happily left it behind. E no easy abeg.

It's very easy. It just affect things that has constant periods.

Just a little idea that someone gave you on your question, you understood the question perfectly well. The book won't tell the children that they are solving problems in modulus because they won't understand what that means. But when they grow and see this problem in the future, they would know they have done something like that before.
