Bride price should be abolished in Nigeria.

Over 80% of married men in Nigeria see their wives as properties because of bride price.
No matter how little the amount is even if it's 10naira a Nigerian man assumes as long as he paid that 10naira you're his property.

Women can't deny their husbands sex because the husbands believe they've bought the body and paid for the sex.

One of the major reason the “head of the home” title is propagated by Nigerian men is because of the bride price.

Until bride price is abolished most Nigerian men and African men in general will continue to see their wives as properties.


Let the change start with you don't allow your parents to collect any amount not even 5naira as bride price from any man because they're indirectly selling you.

Also tell your family not to give anybody any long list.


Most Nigerian men but young and old are misogynists and they'll surely come and say nonsense on this thread.

But before you tell me it's culture or whatever know that men were also the ones who created these so called traditions.

This is one of the reason why Nigerian men don't respect their wives and are always wanting their wives to be submissive and super obedient to every command.
