You want the SS militants to blow up oil and gas facilities? The SS are sensible people and not slaves. You said your state is oil-producing, abi? Go and blow up the groundnut oil facilities you have there. The SS won't be used as pawns by cowardly and perpetually bitter election losers.

To clear your ignorance, the FG Coastal Rail Project from Lagos-Calabar traverses Lagos-Shagamu-Ore-Benin City-Sapele-Warri-Yenagoa, with siding to Otuoke-Port Harcourt-Aba-Uyo-Calabar and branch line from Benin City-Abudu-Onitsha, including Onitsha Rail Bridge.

The second FG rail project is Lagos-Kano rail project which will traverse Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan-Oshogbo-Ilorin-Jebba-Minna-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano, with branch line from Minna-Abuja and Abuja-Kaduna.

Loans from China Exim Bank will be used to fund the three segments from the two major rail projects. Lagos-Ibadan, from Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan with extension to Apapa Port Complex with the segment two of Lagos-Kano.

Lagos Monorail is a Lagos State project, Ogun State and Oyo are also working on a joint rail project.

That's why I always advise Igbos who cry marginalisation to hold the Igbo leaders responsible. Honestly, look at Ogun State and look at Abia State. If you say Ogun is benefitting from closeness to Lagos, is Abia not close to Port Harcourt?

Instead of Igbo Governors to use their brains and improve the region, the Governor of Ebonyi is fighting the Governor of Anambra for changing the name of a street while the imbe.cile in Imo is playing with sand and moulding statues like a toddler. Is Igboland cursed?
.

You're definitely one of the very few with a functioning brain on this thread. People rush here to cry marginalisation blablabla without making their research. Well, I think the many likes and shares from people of their calibre put food on their tables sha.

We don't have the technical know how. Our people need to go out and learn but the question is, will they come back? Will the govt put the knowledge to good use?

China actually did same and see them now.

Our Railway system needs a lot of upgrading and infrastructural investment.

I finally took a train yesterday... Aba to PH... Quite an experience

No VIP section
Overcrowded
Hawkers everywhere inside the train.... From palmwine, Abaacha, snacks, even bushmeat.

We need to sanitize and modernize the operations.

After getting the knowledge of railings, they will marry there, live there and be useful to themselves there. Who is monitoring if they come back or not after government change (apc/pdp) things at the end of the day if we want rail work done we still go and import some chinkos.

Fuckyoumod:
who else

noticed the total neglect of the South - south and south - east?

Even the Niger Delta that would solely generate the money that will be used to fund this rail projects was neglected and none was sighted in
the Niger delta.

I blame Goodluck Jonathan.

And for the militants in the creeks this is when your needed.

This is the kind of injustice you should be blowing up oil and gas facilities and pipelines for.

This is injustice!

Never said they don't invest on local developments. The important thing is that these Chinese came back home and rebuilt their country to what it is now.

I see what you're saying.

But here's the thing.

Constant agitation of the Southeast people for their own country has made investments there very risky. Why develop a land that may soon break away from Nigeria?

Then as for the South south region, why would you site such a project in a place where it's 100% sure that the Chinese workers would be abducted and the project will fail especially when the militants start blowing up the rails.

It's nothing personal, it's only a business decision.

Of course there would always be that insecure confused fellow in each thread spewing "Hate × Ignorance" to the admiration of his fellow ignoramuses.

The report talks of several state owned rail initiatives, and then mentions the Abuja light rail. But this fellow wants Lagos state governor to come and build a light rail system in the SE because the SE is probably an IDP camp which has no governors right? Meanwhile the one built partially in Rivers state, the new governor declared he will abandon it to the cheers of fellows like this. Now he has a problem with Kano state and Lagos state governments building light rail networks and he as a non-niger deltan calls on Niger Delta militants to start blowing up pipelines and destroying their environment.

@Fuckyoumod, walahi, to slap you dey hungry me!
