The stiffness and rigidness of the southeasterner has kept the acceptance of other religions by the Igbo's at a near zero percent. Through the history of Nigeria, every attempt by other religions to penetrate has simply failed to succeed among the Igbo people. In the words of a famous Islamic scholar "my experience has taught me not to trust an Igbo man who calls himself a muslim". The stiffness of the Igbo people is the reason why the assumed Islamization of the entity Nigeria will never succeed. Any attempt to islamize Nigeria will only succeed after the territory called Igboland has been carved out. The Igbo's who have self labelled themselves as Umu Chineke have been a reason why the Islamization agenda will never see light atleast in the south eastern region.
