Home of peace and tourism that was what I thought before I chose plateau state as one of the states I wished to serve my belove country Nigeria. But as it is now this slogan has changed to home of pieces and terrorists. Seems the slogan of home and peace and tourism of a thing is just the irony of what is happening right now in plateau state especially in Barkin Ladi local government where I am and in part of Jos north (bukuru) . Even the security personnels (Army) that suppose to provide security are nowhere to be found. What would you do as a stranger when you see the land owners running away from their houses in order to secure their lives not properties. Or when you see their youths carry guns around in order to prepare for enemies. We all know those enemies that destroy their farm lands, kill them and even set their houses ablaze. And the governor is still saying that there is peace in Plateau State. May God Almighty come to our rescue.

Several alarms have been raised about state governors setting up militias. Whenever such issues are raised, hypocritical Nigerians either ignore them while others support the idea.

Politicians being investigated for gun running enjoy both media and sectional support of the people.
Last week, some fulanis coming back from market were ambushed and killed in a coldblooded operation and their vehicle burnt. You should have seen how NLders gloated most sickeningly over the news.

am of the belief that an average citizen of this nation, can live together in peace, given quality leadership. but presently nigeria lacks quality leadership, thereby given rise to these incessant killings, because these evil planners 've seen that there is no quality leadership to hold them accountable for their evil deeds, so they kill with impunity.

Try and redeploy. If Nysc refuses then fortified your Nysc my dear. An elderly advice from me to you. That was what I did when I got posted to Agatu LGA in Benue State. I witnessed horror that still haunt me till today. I was lucky to be alive. In the end I still got my NYSC certificate and it has been in my file since 2015, also my degree. Self employed is the only way to survive in this war zone called Nigeria.

Old airport should be safe but you'll still pass through Anguldi & Bukuru which are not safe. I advise you to not come into Jos when it's late. The earlier you get to town, the better for you.
