Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condemned the killing of 200 persons in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Plateau State.

He wrote;
"On Saturday, scores of Nigerians were reportedly murdered by armed men believed to be herdsmen in Barkin Ladi, Plateau.
On Sunday afternoon, in Jos, rioters attacked other Nigerians they believed to be Muslim in Jos, in apparent reprisal attacks. What is obvious from these attacks and the reprisals is that Nigeria is experiencing a historically abysmal failure of leadership.
When people don’t feel they are protected or given justice, they resort of self help, and innocent people lose their lives as a result. The security of lives & property is primary role of government & its time our FG takes its responsibilities seriously, by not just deepening security of these known conflict areas, but also reassuring all Nigerians that when people murder innocents, they are brought to justice. It is simply hypocritical that the ruling elite are able to provide world class security to themselves using tax payer money and public resources, yet leave the Nigerians who voted them at the mercy of armed bandits. It is enough!"

He can protect himself with US seals for all we care, but you cant be a president with authorities to service chiefs whose sole responsibility is to protect lives and property to fellow citizens and fail to even arrest culprits whom have claimed responsibility and are in the open.

#stand for truth.

To say there is an abysmal failure in leadership under Buhari is a gross understatement ..under Buhari there is no leadership but terror usurping the state apparatus and using it to provide coverage for terrorist activities

They all keep reacting without profiling any solution to the problem.

Nigeria is so unlucky with leaders and the people..!? they are worse

Until we start speaking in one voice, we are on a long thing and I pray, seriously pray, it doesn't get to us directly before we start doing something to change the status quo.

Atiku agenda is the same as with buhari/fulani agenda. Did anyone see how he tactically made it seems like the killings are both sided.

How to stop the Fulani herdsmen Killing in Nigeria.
I have never seen any country in this world with majority Muslims and majority Christians, that lives in peace. So the Christians should prepare for more attacks from herdsmen.
But they can prevent this by going sophisticated in terms of technology.
1. Produce a military grade drone that can carry some turns
of bomb loaded in it and camera to search everywhere the herders live.
2. Produce mini submarines that drone can land and can take off. When not in use can be under the water on detected.
3.all the Christian comunities should equip themselves now. Because they should not expect anything better from Fulani herders. Any where they attacked then over night drone will be used against them.
If possible little chemical weapons should be mixed with the bomb.
It is better to wipe them all than to stay with one..
Israel has done this and it worked. There brains only ends on AK47. Cutlass and bows.

shocked shocked shocked

We the the afonja head slammers totally disagree with atiku... How dare him attack apc and the presidency for the good fight against corruption... He must be an idiotic person of biafra to have criticized Buhari.

Nigeria is working any anyone that doesn't support the great work of Buhari is an ipob... We afonja head slammers know politics more than the entire east and after all Tinubu is Christian and his wife is Muslim, we accommodate everyone. Those that murdered those people in plateau are iPod miscreants, they are terrorists but herdsmen went there for repriasal attack because 300 of their cows were killed by Christians in plateau.

Did you read everything above?? Thats how a typical BMC defends Buhari's incompetence with so much incoherence and ignorance.

Rip to the dead souls. angry angry

Who are the sane people that can lead you. Many of us don't want Buhari in office come 2019. But have we asked ourselves this Question "who am I going to vote?"

And this is an administration some people are rooting for for another four years. This is an administration a so called elder statesman from a supposedly sophisticated tribe is proud to identify with.

What is the sophistication in you when you are in full support of barbarism, genocide, terrorism, etc?

Something is just fundamentally wrong with Nigeria and her people

Atiku owns more cows than any identifiable human being in Nigeria. Many of these herdsmen are his direct employees. He's calling them 'herdsmen' and not 'fulani herdsmen' for a reason.

So if Nigerians vote this man what difference would it make?

Him and Buhari are both Muslims that will eventually Islamise Nigeria and give their fellow Abokis free hand to continue their terrorism.
