Why do men believe that affliction & other saddening situations are the works of the devil? While all events that give happiness are attributed to God.

And, what could be the likely pictures of human life or nature if Satan does not exist?

Because the devil is the major source of negative energy, inspiration and motivation.

When we reach a certain level of awareness, where we act less before thinking, accept responsibilities instead of asking for forgiveness all the time, devil blame will reduce.

I think we believe that the devil is responsible for all bad ills. Meanwhile we know the repercaution of those things before doing it. Yet we still blame the devil after doing it. Its mental slavery

The simple answer is Denial. undecided
In psychoanalytic theory, denial is a defense mechanism in which a person is faced with a fact that is too uncomfortable to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence.
2. The second has to do with the fact that they have been sold a bunch of lies to deceive them into not reasoning for themselves. undecided

Check it. People do not blame others for something they intended to do but only when they do a thing which they did not plan to do.
