After ransacking his house, they charged him for possession of 25 wrist watches and possession of a pistol. He was arrested for resisting the fulani invasion of his homeland. It happened in benue where all the vigilantes protecting the natives against the fulani invasion were arrested and framed for the killings.

They just want to by all means spoil or give a negative look on him. Akume and people who feel suswam is more powerful than them are just scared, that why they have to treat him that way. This is a man who hav benue sons and daughters at heart, during his tenure or regime in benue, we had two ministerz, cjf,nafdac boss, nexim boss, mpc chairman, he all made them what they are today. No politician in benue has such influence in penetrating through fed govt in such a manner, that made him more powerful than the rest. All what hiz going through today is hatred becos his the youngest amng all the knwn politicians.
