okoro is miles better than mikel
Okoro is better than Mikel. I laugh in boko haram  grin grin grin grin

By the way, do you know that Okoro has been going to our U-17 and U-21 camps since Mid 90's and never made the cut until now?

Fact is Mikel would have held on to the ball, sprayed more passes, relieved the pressure on our defence  and made us play with more composure against Argentina had he played. No other player could have done so. . certainly not R. Ibrahim, Ekpo or that selfish mudaf#cker who deludes himself he's little Messi.

My ranking of Nigerian Midfielders (Those on the block and horizon presently) right now is
1. John Mikel Obi
2. Lukman Haruna
3. Femi Ajilore
4. Ramon Azeez
5. Rabiu Ibrahim
6. Obiora Nwankwo
7. Batholomew Igbinegbu
7. Solomon Okpako
8. Abduljeleel Ajagun
9. Gabriel Rueben
10. Olufemi Adefemi

Sorry ehn. . . your Okoro and Ekpo didn't make the list. Need I say, I think highly of Sanni Kaita and he'd be in my starting-11 anytime, anyday as my Defensive Midfielder grin grin

Oya call me Hausa Mallam and go look for some other adjectives to qualify me  tongue  grin

Buffoon oshi  grin

semid4life no matter what mikel can't never ever be naija best midfilder, whether in current form or talent wise. imagine a fooreigner asking an idiot like semid who is naija best pplayer the fool would say mikel, a player that have no goal or short on target. there is no way i would take mikel over okoro, okoro is the most skillful nigeria player since jj okocha even more skillful than osaze, if he can work on his football brain and stop being to selfish he is going places, but the bad thing about him is that he is already in his early 20s he should be called to eagles now not 5 years later when he has faded. so semid if you think this players

Solomon Okpako
. Abduljeleel Ajagun Gabriel Rueben
Olufemi Adefemi

are better than okoro thunder should strike your Joystick now

but okoro was playing against high school kids in the under-17 tournament. that's an unfair comparison

@bawomolo,
if u can say this above, why then are u part of this unfair discussion?

@12large,
he played the under 20 and u are saying he will go places? what type of places? arsenal, chelsea, madrid, barca? what is his original age and when is he going places?
the rating of players can never be sound with ur types. the players have targets and as soon as they get to their targets, we will know.
stanley okoro and stanley okeafor can never be comfortable playing for iwuanyawu as no quality player can remain in our local league.
we all know that football is not played here but in europe.
