The Truth About Usb Cables And Charging by Fictional: 9:50am On Jul 23, 2018
The amount of power your USB cable can carry is determined
by the size of the 2 5V wires inside its cable .
a standard cable is
28 gauge and is capable of about .5A which majority of phones come with , this is the standard
charge rate.
A *faster charger* cable has larger internal
wires (mostly 24 gauge) that can carry larger currents of
2A or more far higher than the .5A

*THE ADAPTER AND THE CABLE WHICH PLAYS THE BIGGER ROLE IN CHARGING?*

The physics is simple even *your phone* gets to play *a part in fast charging*
A follow come (original) adapter has been built for that specific phone it comes with, so is the USB CABLE.

the *amount of current* the adapter has been designed to carry *is what the usb cable can carry*

The *charging speed* ( how fast the current gets to the phone) *depends on the USB CABLE*

So where does your phone play a part?

*Ever heard of fast charging* if you have seen a couple if android phones say FAST CHARGE TECHNOLOGY this is what it means basically that your phones come with the ability to accept current at a faster rate thereby increasing the rate of charge.

*HOW DO I KNOW AND GET GOOD CHARGING ACCESSORIES?*

*ADAPTERS*
Adapters come with various specific outputs and inputs in terms of how much current they can take in and how much they can give out .
*A good standard adapter*

*SHOULD HAVE THIS RATIO*

INPUT: 100-240v 50-60Hz 1.0A

OUTPUT: 5.0 V (2.0A)

*USB CABLES*
Choosing a good USB CABLE can be challenging , they vary in sizes , colors and textures , the constructions internally is what makes them different so spotting a good one is very hard but you must note that
*longer cables* *don't usually charge fast* due to the distance current has to go to reach its host , a few follow come have been designed to work faster but shorter cables have the edge.

cables range from *various prices* say from 250- 2k depending .
So why dont I go for *cheap USB CABLE?*
well if you do you may probably be going for a *slow built charging* USB CABLE which would be a waste .
So the more *expensive* it is the *better* the *charging* capability.

*PHONES*

The charge fast technology is the new face for most phone manufacturers so always check your new phones if they have this feature which helps a lot.

Can I used a good Nokia cable on infinix head with fast charging and still get a good result?
