IamPatriotic:
if you don't listen to the program "political platform" please don't hastily criticise NBC I was an ardent listener of the program until the build up to the 2015 general election, Ihedu Aniagwu now Chief Press Secretary to the Delta State Government was still in DAAR Communication, he was a huge disappointments to ethical journalism, he was a PDP presenter.
Another presenter on the program that should be sanctioned is Ijeoma Osamo although she doesn't know anything other than castigate APC and other tribes other than Igbos.
Mustapha Mohammed is another person on the said program that needs to be cautioned , he supports anything Hausa/Muslim blindly. the only anchor in the program that is not totally guilty of breeching broadcasting ethics is Amaechi Anakwe, Uju Eje and Adebayo Bodunrin the only veteran broadcaster among them.

Okay,so why is TVC allowed to run wild with all manner of pro-APC shenanigans left, right, center and anti-PDP and 'opposition? undecided...keep deceiving yourselves.

Please, read this :

Moreover , Gej govt did worst during his time...going on news stands to sieze newspapers.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/162255-nigerian-military-goes-berserk-blocks-newspapers-distribution-abuja-lagos.html

Please, also provide me links where El'Rufai insulted Gej or made any incisive comment before the 2015 election. I'll really appreciate it.
But one thing you must understand is, whether Apc or Pdp, our politicians are all the same .
That why good ppl who know whats good have to start getting involved in politics.
Would you allow them or vote for them? Youths are coming out but some people who have been destined to suffer will come here to condemn them.

I am a big listener of Political platform By Raypower. And I can say they give an equal report to everything happening in Nigeria.
To fine them means the government is offended by the truth.

Phone in programmes nowadays, you can insult or curse out the PDP or any of it's members without wahala but the moment you question the APC or FG's buffoonery, you get cut off or fined by the powers that be. One fact these demons and their devil Buhari fail to realize is that the truth can't be hidden forever, very soon, the blood of innocents shall rise to fight them back hands down, their propaganda stops at their nose and a new day is coming for Nigeria VERY VERY SOON cool

I think it's time for broadcast organizations to test BON's interference in court. Broadcast organizations shouldn't just assume that because BON has power to sanction it can do so to satisfy vested interest of some in govt.

TAKE BON TO COURT let's know if they're right simple.

You are very brilliant...

A precedence needs to be set...

That's not correct. Where is TVC (102.3) radio station today? Similar fate, of which they have to change name to MAX fm, which is now purely entertainment station. So get your records straight. Don't be biased if you go against the ethics you get the sanctions QED

[quote author=capatainrambo post=69782305] it's the same thing. when it doesn't swing to the fed gov't side. They say its hate speech.

but elrufai was in evry radio house calling president gej clueless in 2015
the chicken have come home to roost.

is it that most of you donnt know how to read or you are just to lazy to read or cannt comprehensive simple english.
ethics binds "anchor" from spew provocative statement or airing his/her opinion on political matter ... these are regulations made from inception of journalism.. not buhari made.
elrufia was just a guest not an anchor ,,he can air his opinion, all the anchor as to do is throw caution

besides AIT took 2015 election campaign personal, documentary & videos insult were specifically made directly @buhari ..so!! broadcaster are supposed to be neutral

Ray power knows the rules.
They're not the first to be fined, and they won't be the last.

A radio station in Ekiti too was temporarily closed for going against journalism ethics.
Did they tell you why they were fined?
You don't know why, but you wanna blame Buhari all the same
upon all the provocative comment made during gej time NBC never fined TV stations, cos he allowed freedom of speech ,now APC teaching us how to practice true democracy ,watch SARS , IG,DSS,EFCC effect arrest of phone users online when its 2 weeks to election. dem go kill some self ,it's called desperation but noting to offer spits

If President Donald Trump could bar a CNN reporter from entering the Whitehouse because the lady asked President Trump 'tough questions' repeatedly, then why can't Buhari?

The US that the whole world use as an epitome of press freedom is now failing in that regard.

President Trump is setting a bad presidence and the world will feel the impact sooner rather than later
