Hello Eeverybody!

I just signed up for this forum, looks informative and interesting.
I have som questions, if anybody could help my I would be grateful!

I live in Sweden and I have Permanent stay here. I lost my passport 2003 but it should be expired by now anyway.
I want to get a new nigerian passport but the Nigerian embassy here in Sweden don´t issue passport.
Now I´m thinking of applying for a "temporary alien passport" at the Swedish Immigrationoffice.

* I wonder if I can travel to Nigeria with this "temporary alien passport"?
* If not, what other options do I have to come into Nigeria?
* I also wonder how long it takes to do a nigerian passport? I´m travelling with my wife and three children and we´re staying for three weeks.

I´m very thankful for your advices about this matter! Especially if anyone here has been something similar!!

Yes i think is posible for you to travel to nigeria with it and it can only take you a week to get you new ecowas passport

even a new nigerian passport is possible within a week if u can send all ur infos to be filed b4 ur coming.it will ony remain dat u come n thumb print and snap ur pix and ur pasport will be ready by d next day.

Do I have to apply and pay online through
https://portal.immigration.gov.ng ?

Or is there another option?

Maybe my brothers can help me talk to the passport people before my arrival?

dont apply online o!. it will take ages.so much bereacracy here in nigeria.most things are done thru d back door,though legally but say a diff of btw 3k-8k addition to normal price

you dont need to apply online beacuse some people are there waiting to collect there passport for atleast a month but if you can do it via back door it will be easy

I will apply in Nigeria and I will bring enough money to make the applying process go faster and easier, legally!
