The young man in question was able to swim to safety with the help of some members of the rescue team when the boat capsized while others were also being rescued by other members of the rescue team/Bakana Boat Association members. On reaching shore (which is not to far from where the boat capsized) the young man decided to go back into the water to help rescue his sisters despite plea from those around. Unfortunately,he drowned in the process and the sisters were eventually saved.Possibly focus was on trying to save others and attention was not on him and he drowned due to exhaustion.

I think it is the same boat mishap that was claimed six lives posted here on Sunday. If not for the selfless man the casualties would have been more than six. It's so sad that he had to go this way leaving a lovely young family behind. May God rest his soul and console his loved ones
