All You Need To Know About The Deadly Hepatitis B Virus! by Amarabae(f): 10:51am On Aug 03, 2018
Stand up against hepatitis because it is a silent killer. shocked shocked

.
what is hepatitis?
Hepatitis is simply the inflammation of the liver.
It can result to acute illness or Chronicle illness
(that can result in cirrhosis ie hardening of the
liver, liver cancer, liver failure, & untimely death).
.
.
An awareness of the functions of the liver can
hint you on what could go wrong when your liver is affected.

In simple terms, the Liver Processes digested food from the intestine
Controls the level of fats, amino acids, and glucose in the blood,
Combats infection
Neutralizes and destroys toxins
Stores iron., vitamins, and other essential elements
Etc.
.
.
DO YOU KNOW...
That Hepatitis B Virus is responsible for about
60% of liver cancer cases in the developing countries,
That 1 in every random 10 persons is Hepatitis B virus positive.
Do you know which of the next 10 persons you
see is HBV positive ?
.
Out of the estimated 170million population of Nigeria,
HBSAg prevalence is 11%. (that is to say about
17-34 million of Nigerians have Hepatitis B).
.
Total death from HBV is 3 -7 million ( ie so far,
up to 7 million have died from HBV)
.
Annual death is 200,000 (approximately
200,000 people die of HBV every year)
I BET YOU DON'T KNOW,
HBV is 100 times more infectious than HIV and 10 times more infectious than HCV.
You don't know Hepatitis B virus survives outside the body for at least 7 days.
.
.
HOW CAN IT BE TRANSMITTED?
It could be
1. Vertical transmission (Mother to child)
2. Horizontal transmission (one host to the other )
3. through Contaminated needless,
4. Sexual contact,
5. Blood transfusion.
6. health care work incidence.
.
.
WHO AND WHO ARE AT RISK OF CHRONIC HB ?
1. Children from parents who are HBV positive
2. Household contact of infected persons
3. Health care and public safety workers
4.infants born to infected mothers
5. Dirty sexual lifestyle
6. Drug use/ abuse
7. Having MULTIPLE SEX PARTNERS
8. Men having sex with men
9. Sexual contact with infected person
.
.

WHAT ARE THE SIGNS & SYMPTOMS OF Hepatitis B
HEPATITIS B is a SILENT KILLER.
Most times, hepatitis B virus is
ASYMPTOMATIC.
This is the greatest fear about
HBV.
At the early stage it doesn't give you any symptoms at all. Though some people may
have malaise, anorexia, & fatigue.
The first obvious symptom is often signs of significant liver disease, At this point the liver
has been damaged to some extent, your eyes turn yellow due to excessive accumulation of bilirubin, your abdomen swells as well as your
legs, you feel like your head is falling out, and if
there's no prompt expert intervention, the patient may have less than 3 months until the
liver shuts down and death comes,

.
IT IS PREVENTABLE.!!!
You can get immunized against this silent killer.
Hepatitis B vaccine confers 95% immunity
against Hepatitis B virus.
walk down to any govt hospital and ask them about the immunization to know if the one around you are doing it.
But before the immunization, you should go for the test to know your status.

.

.
the safe precautionary measures against
this deadly illness must not be ignored.

.
1. Avoid multiple sex partners,
2. Avoid unprotected sex for unmarried people
3. Don't share sharps
4. Stop patronizing the pedicure service hawkers
5. Have your own clipper or only patronize barbers
that observe the correct instrument treatment measures
6. For health workers.
Always use your safety box
7. Don't recap needles.
Etc
.
.
what if someone gets diagnosed with hepatitis B after a laboratory test , what should he or she do?
If you happen to be diagnosed with the deadly virus after going for a test, please rush down to the hospital for medical help and assistance.
Don't patronize all these herbal commodities,
Don't put your liver to further risk, go to the hospital.
.
.
BE SINCERE TO YOUR SELF NOW. DO YOU KNOW YOUR HEPATITIS STATUS ?
IF YES, PLEASE GET IMMUNIZED OR SEEK FOR
EXPERT MANAGEMENT (DEPENDING ON YOUR STATUS).
IF NO. GET TESTED TODAYII

but u shud also know dt 90% of people infected clears it without any intervention. U will always be asked to repeat the infection after 6 months because most people clears the infection within 6months.if u r still positive after 6 months then it becomes chronic hepatitis.25 percent of Nigerians are infected but only 5 percent are chronically infected

The lesser you know, the safer you are.. Science has exposed us to so many things today.

The human DNA I read is made up of viruses like HIV, Hepatitis etc. that affected the early men. The sad truth is that new ones will keep coming from time to time and those that will survive will.

Hepataitis B is quite dangerous. And one can have the virus without showing symptoms for years and live well and healthy. Vaccination is the best. The vaccination process can also be scary, sha don't miss any of your dose. Espcially the second dose.

I don't think there is a cure but it can be managed. This poo gave me scares during one job medicals like that, that year. grin

I watched my homeboy die of this ailment..........each day we kept hoping for positive news.....shiiit got real bad.....homeboy needed a liver transplant cos he got diagnosed of Hepatitis B a little too late....all the while he was always having malaria like symptoms.......thats when I knew how deadly hepatitis B could get..........10years & counting.......God rest your soul kid.

It's a scare when we see how easy it is to have sex these days.....& I tell you...unprotected sex is d major culprit for the massive spread of the disease lately.........due to our loose lifestyles & sexual practices......most especially guys that patronize ashi's & runs girls...... please let's be careful with our ways.............words from a living witness.............I pray God help us all.

I bet it's treatable. When u have Hepatitis B, make sure u always drink enough water most especially 75cl first in the morning. Keep away from eating groundnuts and use Stone breaker for good min of 3 months. Go for test by 6 months after. I bet you will be tested negative.
I deliberately mentioned what u will need because there is this notion that no cure for it.
We have pure stone breaker if you want and if you can make it do so.
Call for any guidance on this.
