But in the end, ICES may be faster for you @CanadianBae cos WES will still send for verification which may take forever for some schools to respond to. No major advantage using WES, if you ask me, except you are an Engineer that will most likely want to register with APEGA in future and would require a ICAP report for that.

This WES 4 weeks na scam ooo... It will take WES about 2-3 weeks to review your documents and after that, they start 4 weeks count

Verification of your credentials can easily take up to 8 weeks. Only after that can you move on to 4 weeks countdown.

Hi.

I used IOM in Ikeja in May 2018. Their services are quite straight forward. First thing you need to do is book an appointment with them (their email is iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int). They will give you further instructions by email. I paid 41,400 naira.

Is it possible for an application to still be at Central intake office after 5 months? Just curious

Thats how the outsourcing firm, which is basically the same as the bank that outsourced spouse to bank no gree give us reference letter in the way we want it worded which in reality was the job description.

They just gave us one reference letter that falls under NOC C, meaning spouse as the PA will not be able to claim 3 yrs experience.

Our options now will be as follows;

- Wait for spouse completion of MBA in another 6 or 9 months from now, then we evaluate to claim desired points

- Wait for spouse to get another year experience in new workplace which is NOC B (this will be by September 2019) since spouse will
still be way below 29 by then so no deduction of 5 points . This will now give desired 3yrs experience.

- I also created a profile for myself which amounts to 419 (Max experience with BSC. MBA in view by end of 2019). if miracle happens that Ontario decides to pick me, then we say Hallelujah!!! or if i hunt for some PNP?

- Any other ideas on what to do? can spouse claim experience for all those internships of 2 or 3 months in relevant NOCS to add up for experience?

On a lighter note, i can lend out POF while we still think of what to do grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

We go enter this canny las las sha

WES received my transcript from my school on the 1st Aug, didn’t send me a mail for ECA completion date until August 23rd. Whatever transpired btw them and the school took 3 weeks plus additional 3 weeks so It just got updated sept 12th.
So for me it took roughly 6 weeks in total. And that was for a UK school.

Hey guys, so I want to submit my application this weekend but there’s something giving me a little concern.

I’ve got 2 references from 2 employers, but because I gave them the format for the letters, both letters now look alike. They are not identical (of course that’s impossible) but it’s basically similar.

It’s funny to me because if I were a VO, I would probably wonder why two employers in 2 different countries will write in similar style for the same person.

Should I be worried?

What is the similarity? If it is only format, then maybe no cause for alarm. But if the content even sounds similar in the remotest, you could be raising unnecessary eyebrows ooo.

@smslive2. I'm really surprised you were spot-on in your prediction of the MEP and BIL update. Is it a known trend for most applications or was it just a prophetic utterance by the spirit.? .. Lol.
