What if their master becomes senate president ? Would they return to beg him for forgiveness ? Nonsense decision. You ether sink or float with your boss if indeed you are loyal

If this news of Akpabio joining APC is true, then I'll be so disappointed with him. That is likened to Judas. What a shame! I call on Akwa Ibom people to stand up against him. He'll be worse treated than Amaechi. No room for APC in anywhere near Akwa Ibom State.

APC can never win in Akwa Ibom, not possible

APC does not have to win in akwa ibom. All they need is to UN-BLOCK vote the state. the more states in the SS that this can be achieved, the more hopeless PDP chances becomes come 2019.

It is political strategy 101.

My only worries is for the youths who creates enemies because of these people. When we take close observation we will discover he is not defecting based on self principles and state matters but because he has lost out in the power game in his state and national. However, I never believed in him or anyone of the defectors except Saraki who seems to be more nationalistic.

So this man will be going to APC alone? What will APC gain from him? Except symbolism this will be bringing nothing and might not win reelection if his people are deserting him
N/B the source of this news is dubious

Political transfer window open.

Was it Akpabio that built Ibom Tropicana Centre?
Yeah, he started it but unable to complete it. He completed the mall and cinema aspect and went far in the hotel aspect and started the convention Centre there as well but udom has refused to work on it since then

Please, aside the Ibom stadium, mention one other infrastructure Akpabio is commonly touted to have layed during his 8yr rule.
Specialist hospital, ibom power plant, ibom e-library ibom international airport, maintenance repair and overhaul facility at ibom airport, modernization of the state capital, I believe u knew how local uyo was before akpabio gave it a facelift

I really can't believe that Akpabio whom I have utmost respect for and regard as a true gentleman standing on a correct platform, would allow himself to be converted into such a devilish party. Even the most gruesome threat of imprisonment or death should not shake him enough to leave a wonderful platform and join the most wicked party Africa has ever had. I simply pray he will come back to his senses and realise that he is burying himself alive by this act.

These ones still have a shred of integrity left. Quite odd in Nigeria's political sphere undecided

Who says their allegiance to his former party is based on integrity.
