hush15: two years is enough for turn around maintenance of all our refineries and this will in turn create jobs for a lot of Niger Delta youths and the northern youths also or all locations with the refineries, but why the Government is not doing that till really surprises me. |

IamAlexander: Very unlikely. Petroleum products import is one area where the cancer of corruption has eaten into completely, we are talking billions of dollars in awoof money. Ask former cbn governor Sanusi. The beneficiaries will fight Dangote to death because pure corruption like we have in this case will always fight back. I'm looking forward to how Dangote intends on containing the coming fiery onslaught? |

Aldebaran: Epic and extremely painful irony! Whoever can end import of petroleum products and reignite local production and export, such a person should lead Nigeria for at least 10 to 20 years. But the nacking that will produce that baby has not taken place cos even the parents haven't met!! 1 Like |

Firefire:Go and read the act establishing the NNPC, ignorance is our greatest problem in Nigeria. Do your research, since 1999 how much has NNPC remitted to the federation account? Again those years that subsidy forms a part of the National Budget, was NNPC not in existence? Why is it that the NNPC was not managing the subsidy payment internally with appropriation from the federal budget? |
