Why Funds Allocated To Judiciary Must Be Used Judiciously … CJN by willywasco(m): 11:01am On Aug 07, 2018
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN Justice Walter Onnoghen yesterday said that funds allocated to the Nigerian Judiciary must maintain proper accounting standards, practice and records , which are critical to the administration of the Judiciary.

Justice Onnoghen made the declaration yesterday at the opening ceremony of a workshop organised by the National Judicial institute, NJI for Directors of Finance, internal auditors and other financial officers of the Nigerian Judiciary.

According to Justice Onnoghen, as managers of the Judiciary purse, your duties include among many other things, ensuring adequate compliance with financial regulations and adequate supervision of the disbursement of those funds allocated to your courts.
