Let me educate you, Minority leader is a position for the minority party in the house. Akpabio resigned because he is leaving the pdp for APC. He can't be a minority leader while he is a member of majority party and also vice versa.
As for Saraki, the position of SP is open to anyone as elected by the members of the assembly. A member of minority can be a SP if he gets the required votes. There is no law that says SP must be from a majority party.

Having said that, if majority party feels uncomfortable with Saraki or any member of minority being an elected SP, they can remove/impeach if they can get 2/3 votes of all the elected members.

It is what the law says and APC or no party will rewrite or abandon our laws for us to suit themselves.

This was the same law that protected Tambuwal after he defected as a speaker to APC because PDP couldn't have the 2/3 votes to remove him.

LOL, you said he planned a coup by aligning with PDP senators, that is what APC should be doing if they are wise. They should lobby with opposition members to get the 2/3 votes to remove Saraki instead of these acts of thuggery which are even shameful such that they themselves are denying their actions like NASS invasion.
Saraki was smarter than APC by making sure he lobbied and didn't get the SP position in a kangaroo way, that explains why APC couldn't challenge his emergence as SP in a court.

Did Sarak ask other senators to be in another meeting when senate had been scheduled to convene for election. Hadn't date and time been fixed for house to convene? Why did they have to be in another meeting at the same time? How was Saraki's responsible for this?
Didn't Saraki get the needed numbers of senators necessary to form a quorum even while others were at another meeting?
Didn't Saraki get the major votes (infact, he was selected unopposed to emerge as SP)?

You may not like Saraki emerging as SP, but he got it legally and constitutionally, not by act of thuggery. Apc as a part should also learn from Saraki to lobby and get constituted numbers if they want to remove him legally.
