Some minutes ago the long awaited deal for Thibaut courtois going to Madrid was confirmed and kovacic will be joining Chelsea on a season long loan to avail him playing times, giving the financial spending power to acquire kepa Arrizabalaga of Athletic Bilbao for a disclose fee of €80m and letting courtois go a lot less between 35-€40m. Honestly I was expecting Chelsea to have insisted on getting kaylor navas who to me is better than courtois instead of spending huge amount on kepa, don't get me wrong I wish kepa a fruitful season with Chelsea but the spending power I can't fathom, I pray his price tag will not weigh him down psychologically.
