this is federal government declaration, whether it isvused for political purpose or not, the most important thing is that it won't be reversed.

Why always wait till election is close to do the right things. They'll win the election and then few months, they'll start telling us stories of how they can no longer sustain the new minimum wage and have to reduce it or probably increase price of fuel.

By September the minimum wage will b announced and the implementation will start by may 2019 (after election). After the election they will deny it. So don't rejoice yet.

80% of states are owing and cannot pay the N18k,where do they get money to pay the new minimum wage.
The private sector that has been literarily stifled out of business are also either owing/paying staffers peanuts,so what happens to workers there?
Have they looked at the inflationary trend a poorly implemented minimum wage would wrought from an economy already in crisis?
Minimum wage increase if being done not for election reasons and with a whole lot of economic,financial and social factors considered,should come after May 2019,not this year.
