What was annoying to me is the way the man bent and the woman knelt for the governor.

This is democratic setting for goodness sake. No arm is greater than the other. Imagine how our legislators have turned themselves to servants to the executive. how will they be able to discharge their legislative duties?

And what is the correlation?

What is the constitutional duty of Prince William?
William is a member of the House of Lords or the commons?

Ogun state governor Ibikunle Amosun received two members of the Ogun State House of Assembly who defected from PDP to the APC, Hon. Akintayo Folakemi representing Yewa South State constituency and Hon. Ojo Viwanu representing Ipokia/Idiroko State constituency.

Hon. Bankole who couldn't win his reelection to d House of Rep? Have u forgotten he lost miserably to an APC candidate. A very stingy man to d core.

Who is Bankole to stop Amosun? Amosun's achievements spoke for him...OBJ, whose candidates have always lost in Ogun, his own State...he has never ever won an election in d polling unit in front of his house not to talk of making someone Gov.

OBJ is more of a spoiler than an installer...let's see how his ADC will fare 2019...the 2 PDP members that decamped to ADC were GNI's boys since his days in PDP, and they know his Governorship ambition will help them win their way back to d house (knowing full well their boss might not win).

NB: These defection means PDP is as good as dead in the State.

I knew it was over for Ogun PDP immediately they expelled Kashamu...Someone who held the party today in their days of turbulence; u just discard him like that? Fayose played a crucial role in it all; someone who wanted to control d entire SW PDP, thinking he's somebody... grin

Now Kashamu will just act as spoiler for PDP.

I don't want to get involved in you guys' debate but OBJ intentionally worked against his daughter in 2011. He destroyed her political career for what she did with Gbenga Daniel against her father. Little do I wonder if he could do that to his pwn blood daughter, ATIKU should just forget winning OBJ's heart of support. He doesn't have the word forgiveness in his dictionary.

I beg to differ with u on this one...Iyabo Obasanjo was the reason OBJ and OGD fell out back then...OBJ wanted his daughter to takeover from OGD but latter wanted his crony GNI to succeed him...hence d sabotage of OGD govt by OBJ thru d State House of Assembly.

Let me ask you three questions.

1. Which party did Obasanjo support in 2011 in Ogun state?
2. Under which party umbrella did Iyabo Obasanjo contest?
3. Who finally won the senatorial seats in Ogun state and what was Obasanjo's reactions after the elections?

Well, u have a point about that and i won't argue with u.

But when i call Bankole a stingy man, i mean he's stingy to fellow politicians who are d foot soldiers that will sell him to d people...no one can become Gov or win any election if he treats his fellow politicians d way he does...There was an occasion at the Alake palace when OGD said in Yoruba and i quote..."Bankole give these people money, they say you too stingy...spend this money"...So for OGD to have said that, he is a stingy who thinks election time is d only time he can spend and make politicians fall inline.
